RESOLUTION

(To be moved in Legislative Council).

Resolved that under the power conferred by section 3 of

the Pensions Ordinance, 1949, the retrospective effect as expressed

therein of the proposed regulations in the Schedule here to be approved.

SCHEDULE.

PENSIONS ORDINANCE, 1949.

Regulations by the Governor in Council.

In exercise of the power conferred upon him by sub-section

(3) of section 3 of the Pensions Ordinance, 1949, with the sanction

of the Secretary of State and the prior approval of Legislative

Council signified by resolution, the Governor in Council hereby makes

the following regulations :-

Citation.

1.

REGULATIONS.

These regulations may be cited as the Government House

Staff (Allowance) Regulations, 1950, and shall be read as one with

the Pensions Regulations, 1949.

2.

The Pensions Regulations, 1949, shall apply to Chu Woo,

Cheung Kwun, Lui Kam, Cheung Yee, Chậung Ping-Sam, Lee Shu-Sum, Fung

Kui, Wan Tai, Chan Tai and Wong Ku, now or recently employed at

Government House in like manner for all purposes as if such persons

had during the respective periods for which they served, prior to

the 1st of April, 1949, been monthly paid non-pensionable officers

in the service of this Colony:

Provided that nothing herein contained shall render it unnecessary

to obtain the approval of the Governor under section 18 of the

Ordinance for the purpose of deeming the service of any of such

persons unbroken.
